The application includes information on: - Anatomy of the skin - Description of wound healing phases - Common wound care terminology for assessment and documentation - Essential patient history needs - Laboratory assessment - Wound assessment and documentation parameters - Wound care algorithms for surgical wounds, wounds with soft tissue loss/necrosis, superficial infections - All the basics of wound care: assessment, cleansing, debridement, periwound protection, dressing choice, documentation - Description and uses of dressings (acrylic, alginate, composite, enzymatic agent, films, foams, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, NPWT, silver) - Edema control - Nutrition assessment and recommendations - Comorbidity recommendations Application also allows you to take notes and pictures for personal use.
